WellSpring Essences are created in Golden Bay, with water from theTe Waikoropupu Springs area forming a foundation for their other natural healing properties. Similar to the Bach flower "rescue remedy", but broader in their range of treatment, they are not herbal remedies, and cannot do anyone any harm. Essences are ‘vibrational medicines’ that balance the electrical system, enhance clarity and general wellbeing. I offer personal remedies, again tailor made for the individual for their unique balance and mental/emotional stability. The remedies offer a valuable insight into your patterns, strengths and challenges, as each essence has a ‘definition’ or signature that presents to you a unique pattern of information.

The WellSpring Essences are all natural healing remedies gathered from Nature, including flower essences and much more!! See my WellSpring Essences blog for inspiration and information...(click on the logo to the right)

BodyTalk is a system of healthcare that works with the innate wisdom of your own body, restoring communication pathways within the body and energy systems for your health at all levels.

Through the BodyTalk system we can address many aspects of total health; hydration, improving the functioning of the brain, reducing stress reactions, release of past shock or trauma, muscular and skeletal balance, allergies and intolerances, microbial balance, belief systems, organ functioning, blood and lymph fluid circulation, emotional and mental balance, and much more…but most importantly, addressing how these facets of your being are interrelated for you.

In a session, we use a gentle form of muscle testing to establish the communication breakdowns within the body. Depending on what we find after ‘talking’ to the body in this way we use specific balancing techniques and gentle tapping over the brain to alert it to what needs ‘fixing’, then a gentle tapping over the heart to store this change.

Clients report results including: relief of physical symptoms/pain, feeling greater wellbeing and mental clarity, a sense of light-heartedness or inspiration, and that they are better able to deal with the stresses of their day to day life.

Reiki translates as "Life Force energy". (or "Life vitality") In a Reiki session the practitioner transmits this healing, revitalising energy throughout the whole body and its energy systems. Reiki sessions are deeply relaxing and balancing, sometimes facilitating release of emotional trauma, and bringing a deeper understanding of yourself.

Reiki is a beautiful and simple healing art that you can learn both for your own healing, and to work with others. I offer both sessions and workshops at Levels 1, 2 or Master/Teacher.

Neurolink is a system of healthcare that works mainly with the brain and its connection to the systems and parts of the body. When a system or body part is stressed to the point of damage the brain will ‘shut off the power’ to the affected area as a protective measure. It is similar to a fuse blowing in the electrical wiring systems in your house when one area is overloaded. In a Neurolink session, we use muscle testing to determine in which areas the ‘fuses’ are blown and then gentle tapping over the brain to restore the connection between these parts and the brain. Once the brain is alerted it can direct the restoring of power to the body part or system and healing can occur.

Hopi Ear Candling is an ancient healing art that has been performed around the world for centuries. I use candles that have been designed through years of research and study with the Hopi people, using organic beeswax, linen, and healing herbs including Sage, St John’s Wort and Chamomile. A treatment is very relaxing, takes around one hour and includes candling each ear, with gentle massage around the ears and entire head to stimulate the flow and drainage of lymph fluid. The candles will burn away old dirty ear wax and at the same time ‘remind’ the ears to clean themselves.

Did you know your body is always in one of two modes?

Growth and Nurture Mode: in this mode, all the body’s energy and resources are going into self regulating and healing – into your immune responses, digesting food, cleansing the blood, repairing cells, learning, self-expansion, and so on, and so on..

Protective Mode (“Fight or Flight mode”): in this mode, all your body’s energy and resources are going into immediate survival – blood pressure rises as the heart pumps harder and faster, blood is directed into the limbs, (so you can flee from danger or fight against it) and directed from the thinking part of your brain into the ‘primal responses’ part of the brain, so you don’t stop to think when you really need to take action! The body’s resources in this state are diverted away from less immediately important activities, such as digestion, the immune system etc. This is a very important capability of our bodies, as it enables us to get out of the way of oncoming buses without stopping to wonder whether or not we should!

However, we can become stuck in this protective mode, as in a modern world our stresses are no longer ‘lions and tigers’ but mortgages, commuting, breaking up of relationships, global warming, economic recessions, childhood abuse, alcohol and drug abuse, environmental toxins, and so on and so on….as we find that this stress is linked to our dis-ease it is important that we find ways of dealing with it effectively.

My highest priority in my work is to facilitate people back into Growth and Nurture mode, so that these everyday stresses affect you less and less, and your body gets back on with the job of keeping itself well.
